The slack-key guitar/vocal team of Barry Flanagan and Nathan Aweau, known together as HAPA, return to the Maui Arts & Cultural Center as part of the Ho’onanea Series.

After sweeping the 1994 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards, HAPA has remained at the forefront of Hawaiian music with a fusion of sounds: from strummed ballads to modern acoustic folk/rock, and sweet contemporary mele.

HAPA performs Friday, February 27th at 7:30 p.m. at the Castle Theater along with special guests Eric Gilliom, Ernie Cruz Jr., chant by Charles Ka’upu and the hula stylings of Malia Peterson.
