Residents of Kaunakakai and Kalae on Molokai are asked to limit water use to essential needs only in order to keep the Kaunakakai water tank at a safe level while repairs are being completed to the water well pump.

The County is temporarily using a Department of Hawaiian Home Land’s well to fill the tank, but the holding tank is not being filled with water at its usual rate.

Saving water held in the tank is critical to help meet the needs of Molokai Hospital and the dialysis center and provide water for fire hydrants in Kaunakakai and Kalae, Molokai. Call 553-5791 for more information.
