Maui Police Open Murder Suicide Investigation
Maui Police have opened a murder suicide investigation into an incident reported last night in Makawao.
Authorities responded to a 9-1-1 call at 10:15 p.m. reporting domestic abuse with possible shots fired at a Makawao residence.
Upon arrival, police officers discovered two bodies of a 59-year-old male and a 58-year-old female who had died from potential gun shot wounds.
Both victims names are pending release until positive identification can be verified. Autopsies are also pending.
The incident is being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Division, Wailuku Division, as a Murder Suicide.
