Punana Leo o Maui Fundraiser: Ho’omau 2010, March 27

The Punana Leo o Maui program will hold its annual Ho’omau fundraiser on Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 9 a.m. to sunset at the Keopu’olani Park Amphitheater in Kahului.  Funds raised goes towards the Hawaiian immersion preschool program.

The day-long Ho’omau 2010 event features entertainment from: Na Palapalai, Keali’i Kaneali’i, ‘Ohana Pahuwai, Homestead, Sudden Rush, Maoli, Desmond Yap, Na Hanona Kulike o Pi’ilani, Na hamuman o Punana Leo o Maui, and Kula Kaiapuni o Maui.

E hele mai a nanea I ka ho’olaulea! (Come enjoy the wonderful festivities!)  There’s also ‘ono food, hula, activities, a keiki zone, and silent, live and online auctions.  The festivities also include vendors showcasing Hawaiian crafts (like Hawaiian Force and Kalopiko) and cultural practices.

Tickets are $10 pre-sale or $15 at the door (children 10 and under are FREE).  Ticket oulets can be found at:  Ruby’s Diner at the Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center, Cute & Cuddly Baby Boutique in the Maui Mall, Pacific Roots Tattoo in Kihei, Native Intelligence in Wailuku, and Pauwela Video Pix in Haiku.
