A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 mph are expected.

Trade winds will be sustained near 30 mph with frequent gusts to near 50 mph and should be decreasing early Thursday.

WINDS THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT, ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION. SECURE ANY LOOSE OBJECTS THAT MAY BECOME AIRBORNE OR MOVE THEM INDOORS.

Maui County Civil Defense will continue to monitor the situation.  Please listen to your local radio and TV stations or access NOAA Weather Radio broadcasts for any updates.
