Native Intelligence in Wailuku celebrates its one year anniversary today during the First Friday event in Old Wailuku Town.

Native Intelligence celebrates with the sale of laulau plates, an ‘awa bar, a tattoo corner for kids, fried kulolo, raffle prizes and free Hawaiian entertainment by:  Sheldon Brown, Napua Makua, and Kaumakaiwa Kanakaole.

The First Friday event runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 7, 2010 on Market Street in Wailuku.

The event includes entertainment at the Wailuku Banyan Tree Park featuring music by Living Treasure, Richard Hoopii from 6-8 p.m.

The MauiThing store at the South end of Market Street will feature live music by Tarvin Makia of Tunana.

Also enjoy food booths along Market Street and a Poetry Slam at 8 p.m. at Gallerie Haha.
