The American Resort Development Association of Hawaii (ARDA-Hawaii), a timeshare organization, donated $1,000 to the Maui Economic Opportunity (MEO) agency for the construction of a transportation facility in Pu’unene.

The donation is aimed at demands for transportation services to the elderly and those with special needs on Maui.  The planned transportation facility was designed to streamline operations and increase transportation efficiency.

“This donation as well as others from the community help to ensure that we can fulfill our commitment to the tens of thousands of Maui County residents we serve annually,” said MEO Chief Executive Officer Sananda “Sandy” Baz.

“ARDA-Hawaii is pleased to contribute to the construction of this facility which will have a positive impact not only on the 20,000 Maui residents touched each year by MEO’s services, but also future generations,” said ARDA-Hawaii Chair Daniel Dinell.
