Another Maui endorsement has been made.  The International Longshore & Warehouse Union Local 142 political action committee has endorsed State Representative Joe Bertram III for re-election to the District 11 state house seat.

Bertram, who is the incumbent for the seat, faces two other democratic challengers:  Johanna Amorin and Netra Halperin, as well as a Republican challenger, George Fontaine.

“We look forward to working with you when you are re-elected to improve the benefits and protections for Hawaii’s working people and their families, to grow our economy, to improve our communities and to protect the rights of all the people of our State,” Fiesta said in the endorsement letter.

“I know that protecting and improving Maui’s economy is our most important priority and am proud to have the support of hard working members of Local 142 in working towards that goal”, Bertram said.
