High Tech Maui Career Fair Features Good Paying Jobs
The 9th Annual High Tech Maui Holiday Career Fair happens December 29 from 12 noon to 4 pm at the Malcolm Center in the Maui Research & Technology Park.
This Wednesday, the Holiday Career Fair will offer local applicants a unique opportunity to meet and discuss their qualifications in person with top science and technology personnel.
At the same time, it gives Maui-based companies the opportunity to relay the latest job information and recruit Hawaii students who come home for the holidays. Bringing home Hawaii students and providing them with well-paying jobs has long been a goal of Maui Economic Development Board’s effort to strengthen the Maui economy.
Job hunters can pre-register now by uploading their resumes for employers to review at High Tech Maui website.
Representatives from key Maui high tech related industries will be there; including health and medicine, space science, earth science, ocean science, information technology, telecommunications, and biotechnology.
Past corporate participants have included: Akimeka, The Boeing Company; County of Maui; Maui High Performance Computing Center; Lockheed Martin; Oceanit; and the Pacific Disaster Center.
The event is sponsored annually by the Maui Economic Development Board’s Women in Technology Project, Kama‘aina Careers, and The Maui News. Event is funded thru grants from the County of Maui and the U.S. Department of Labor.
The Malcolm Center is a state-of-the-art facility; also home to Maui Economic Development Board, Inc., (MEDB)
