An estimated 3,400 residential customers in Maui County failed to pay their refuse collection fees on time.  The semi-annual fee was due by December 31, 2010.

County officials say late customers that fail to pay by February 7, 2011, will have their accounts closed.

The County of Maui Solid Waste Division sent out notices to delinquent customers today.  Payments can be made at the Refuse & Landfill Accounts office located at One Main Plaza, Suite 200.  Questions can be directed to the accounts division at 270-1731.
