UHMC Hawaiian Language Students to Hold Fundraiser

The University of Hawaii Maui College’s s second year Hawaiian Language students are holding their first annual Ho‘olaule‘a fundraising event on Saturday, February 26.

Ho‘olaule‘a 2011 takes place on Saturday February 26th from 9am-2pm

The event will be held at the Paukukalo Hawaiian Homes Hall in Wailuku from 9:00am to 2:00pm and admission is free.

This event features a silent auction, vendors, entertainment, a talent show, a keiki zone, and their Hawaiian Plate Lunch (Kalua Pig, Rice, Squid Lu‘au, Chicken Long Rice, Pohole Salad, and Dessert) for  $10 in advance or $12 the day of the event.

All proceeds go towards the  students’ trip to Kaua’i to attend a Hawaiian Language enrichment program. For more information and to purchase meal tickets in advance contact Kanoe at 808-268-0432.
