Surfers and windsurfers might not always come together in the water, but when it comes to cleaning up the beach they are a powerful team.

On Sunday March 20th, The Surfrider Foundation Maui Chapter and +H20, a collective of Maui windsurfers dedicated to  clean water, will join forces for the “Lulu’s Lahaina Ukumehame” Beach Clean-Up.

This event takes place from 8am-11am and participants are asked to meet at the Surfrider Foundation booth at Ukumehame Beach at 8am. Lunch will be provided and  2011 Beach Clean Up t-shirts will be free to the first 100 attendees.  Community Work Day donates supplies such as bags and gloves.  It is suggested that participants also come prepared with a re-useable water bottle and sun protection.
