Lahaina is full of tempting dining options, from cheeseburgers in paradise to savory steaks and fresh seafood masterpieces. Lining Front Street from Mala Ramp to 505, the selection of restaurants is plentiful. But come 9 p.m. and most eateries start closing up shop. For hungry night owls, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite late night spots in town.

Lahaina Coolers, located on Dickinson Street by Kobe Japanese Steakhouse, is an open-air eatery celebrated for their ½ Pound Maui Cattle Burger, homemade pizza and Steak Poke. Food is served till midnight and the bar stays open until 1 a.m. Call 808- 661-7082 for details.

For late night BBQ and local fare, head to Smokehouse BBQ on Wainee Street, a place mostly hit up by locals who like cheap beer and stiff drinks. Until 9 p.m., feast on baby back ribs until your heart’s content but after that, enjoy ahi poke and BBQ pork dishes until 1:30 a.m. Call 808-667-7005.

Longhi’s just unveiled a late night menu from 9 p.m. to close, offering innovative appetizers, pizzas, salads, and sandwiches along with beer, wine and spirits at 50% off. We recommend the Fresh Fish sandwich, offering a mouthful of breaded macadamia-coated fish and veggies. Contact Longhi’s at 808-667-2288 for more information.

Lahaina Café also offers another late night Lahaina dining option, and though the prices are reasonable, we found other nearby options more appetizing. Head there for the easygoing bar scene but save your appetite for elsewhere.
