Terme Hydrotherapy Circuit at Grand Wailea's Spa Grande

By Kristin Hashimoto

On the last Friday of every month, the Grand Wailea devotes an entire hedonistic night to the fairer sex. Sip skinny cocktails and devour figure friendly hors d’oeuvres. Tap beautifully pedicured toes to live entertainment, and enjoy some eye-candy with a trendy fashion show. Then take a break from sensory overload to indulge in some spa-therapy at the Spa Grande. The night ends on a sparkling note, when one woman goes home with a glittery giveaway piece of jewelry: a Brighton charm bracelet. Does this sound like your ideal Friday night?

For many women, Divas Night Out, has been a necessary relief from the realities of their day to day life. Since January of 2011, this sell-out event is where girlfriends gather, mothers relax, and women bond, recoup and rejuvenate.

At Botero Bar at the Grand Wailea, cocktails and yummy eats are available from 5:00 p.m. For $21, a diva can order a SkinniTini (calorie-light cocktail), and two SkinniEats.

At 8:00 p.m. the Spa Grande features beautiful people and clothes on the catwalk, while women ogle the newest trends in fashion. It’s also at Spa Grande where lips and tongues meet chocolate fondue, truffles, candy, and caramels.

Spa space fills fast, so make reservations early by calling 875-1234. The Botero Bar welcomes walk-ins, but is strictly 21 and over for the Divas Night Out event. Valet parking is complimentary for those participating in the Divas Night festivities.

A little reminder, May 8, is Mother’s Day. Just saying.
