Discover the cultural uses of hala while learning to weave a lau hala bracelet with Master Weaver, Pōhaku Kaho‘ohanohano!

Maui Nui Botanical Gardens will host two weaving workshops on Saturday, May 14th from 9 to 11am and 12 to 2pm. Space is limited and fees apply.  Call 249-2798 or email [email protected] to request a registration form.

Maui Nui Botanical Gardens is located at 150 Kanaloa Avenue in Kahului.  It is a gathering place for discovery, education and conservation with dozens of native and Polynesian-introduced plants throughout the facility’s Kahului gardens.
