County on Your Corner Travels to Hana Town

County Department heads travel to Hana for the next session of “County on Your Corner” with Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa.  The event takes place Friday, June 24, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Hana Town Center.

“It is important to connect with people face to face,” says Arakawa. “‘County on Your Corner,’ which is scheduled in a different location each month, is a good way for myself and members of my cabinet to interact with the community on the issues that are of most interest to them,” said Mayor Arakawa.

Joining the Mayor at the Hana event will be East Maui Council member Robert Carroll, Managing Director Keith Regan, Executive Assistant Bill Medeiros, Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff Kit Zulueta, and Office of Economic Development Coordinator Teena Rasmussen.

The County on Your Corner series will then travel to South Maui for the next session, set for July 9, 2011.
