Hawaiian Ranks #1 Punctuality, Fewest Cancellations in April

According to monthly reports issued by the U.S. Department of Transportation, Hawaiian Airlines led the airline industry in on-time performance and fewest flight cancellations during April.

Beating the nation’s carriers by 18.6 percentage points, Hawaiian registered 94.1 percent of its scheduled flights as on-time arrivals in the month of April. Hawaiian also had only three cancellations out of 5,560 total flights during April, which gave it a first overall ranking with 0.1 percent cancelled flights for the month.

Hawaiian has led all U.S. carriers in on-time performance for each of the past seven years (2004-2010) as reported by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
