The public is invited to attend this week’s informational meetings detailing design plans for the Wailuku Municipal Parking Structure.  The project is designed to provide additional public parking stalls in Wailuku, and will utilize the parcel currently occupied by the existing Municipal Parking Lot.

The Department of Public Works encourages the public to attend any of the two upcoming meetings to address any concerns.  The meetings will be held on Thursday and Friday, June 16 and 17, 2011 at the County of Maui Planning Conference Room, located on the first floor of the Kalana Pakui Building on South High Street in Wailuku.

Thursday’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. and includes a presentation on the conceptual design of the structure.  The consultant, Allison-Ide Structural Engineers will also provide the same presentation for the Maui Redevelopment Agency at its meeting on Friday at 1 p.m.
