Sweet melodies, catchy pop phrasing and warm and mellow vocals characterize Jim Brickman’s musical style. On August 7, Brickman will perform hits, his favorites, and new material, at the Castle Theatre at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center at 3:00 p.m.

Brickman has been creating music and performing for decades. “Valentine,” “If You Believe,” and “Love of My Life,” are a few hit songs the audience will get to enjoy that day.

This multi-platinum artist has collaborated with other musical artists such as: Marina McBride, Michael W. Smith, Lady Antebellum, Kenny Loggins, Michael Bolton, Sara Evans, Olivia Newton-John and more.

Brickman began playing the piano when he was five, and has since evolved from jingle writer, to pop style instrumentation and romantic piano solos, which have garnered international acclaim. His sound can be sentimental, romantic, and soothing. Some of his music can also create that mental sound loop in your head, if you’re not careful. American Idol finalist, and Hawaii boy, Jordan Segundo will also perform that afternoon at the MACC.
