Mill Street in Wailuku was re-opened at 12:25 p.m., following a brief closure.

The closure was in effect for less than 20 minutes as crews from the Maui Fire Department responded to a fire reported at a structure between Mission and Kaniela Streets.

A portion of Mill Street in Wailuku is closed this afternoon as the result of a fire.

Maui Police closed Mill Street at 12:08 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, between Mission and Kaniela.
