The National Weather Service in Honolulu issued a high surf advisory for Maui’s south shores. The advisory will take effect from 6 a.m. Tuesday morning until 6 a.m. Friday morning.

Surf is reported to ride to wave heights of 8-12 feet. Height estimation for this forecast is based on measurements of front-facing waves.
