Winter Swells Tease Maui’s North Shore

Local surf forecasts indicate that Maui’s north shore should see waves up to 8 ft on Tuesday, October 11 starting at 5 a.m. through until 5 p.m.

There have been no warnings or alerts from the National Weather Service in Honolulu thus far, so we can be sure that waves will not reach threatening heights – just enough to have a casual ride.

We should a similar pattern this weekend on Saturday and Sunday.

Wind and kite surfers may have more of a thrill as wind will reach a moderate speed of 12-16 knots this week, doubled with the decent swell.
