Rare Hawaiian Kalo Varieties on Sale

Maui Nui Botanical Gardens will host a Hawaiian Taro Sale on Friday, October 21, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (while supplies last).
Upwards of 40 varieties of Hawaiian kalo (taro) will be available for purchase from family groups mana, piko, lauloa, ‘ele‘ele, ‘ula‘ula, and manini.

The gardens will not have the varieties available for sale again until next year.
The MNBG is located on Kanaloa Avenue in Kahului across from the War Memorial Stadium.
Admission is free.
