Weekend Tunnel Maintenance on Honoapiilani Hwy

The state Department of Transportation will replace lights in the Pali Tunnel on Maui this weekend.
The work will result in the nighttime closure of the southbound lanes of the Honoapiilani Highway for 10 hours beginning Saturday night.
The partial closure goes into effect at 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, and continues until 6 a.m. on Sunday, October 23.

Traffic will be contraflowed using a single lane during the construction period between Mile post 10 and 11.
Motorists are advised to use caution when driving through the construction area and to allow for extra travel time. Roadwork is weather permitting.
