Doctors and nurses at Maui Memorial Medical Center today traded in their stethoscopes and scrubs for wacky wigs and pirate patches.

The creative costumes were encouraged as part of the 1st Annual Hallowpalooza event, featuring staff costume contests, pumpkin carving, and a corn shucking competition.

Various departments from the Emergency Room to the Molokini Ward, were judged on originality, overall presentation, unit participation, and creativity.
