24 Maui Burglaries Reported Oct. 16-22, 2011

Maui police responded to 24 residential burglaries in the third week of October, from the 16th to 22nd.

The incidents included six cases in Wailuku, and three each in Lahaina, Kihei and Kahului. Cases also occurred in Haiku, Kaanapali, Kaunakakai, Kawela, Kula, Makawao, Napili, Paia, Waiehu, and Waikapu.

The complete list of locations affected and times in which the incidents occurred are as follows:

Haiku:

  • Friday, 10/21/11, 3 p.m.: Puuomaile Road, unlawful entry

  • Wednesday, 10/19/11, 1:11 p.m.: Kai Malino Parkway, at the Honua Kai Resort & Spa, unlawful entry

Kahului:

  • Monday, 10/17/11, 4:30 p.m.: Kono Place, forced entry
  • Sunday, 10/16/11, 8 p.m.: Kono Place, unlawful entry
  • Sunday, 10/16/11, 8 p.m.: Kono Place, unlawful entry

Kaunakakai:

  • Monday, 10/17/11, 5:36 p.m.: Kolapa Place at Home Pumehana, unlawful entry

Kawela:

  • Monday, 10/17/11, 12 p.m.: Kanoa Beach at Kamehameha V Highway, mp 3.6, unlawful entry
