Four Bands To Rock Maui In Concert

Point Panic Music Festival is almost here, featuring Sublime with Rome, Pepper, Iration, and Dub Trio. The festival will take place at the MACC on Sunday, November 20 at 4:30 p.m. The concert will be an exciting melange of rock and reggae, appealing to a diverse audience.

SUBLIME WITH ROME 

Sublime with Rome made their debut in Hawaii about one year ago with new singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez. Now the band is celebrating their new album release, “Yours Truly” in Maui to kick off the Point Panic Music Festival.

Maui fans will have the chance to hear hit songs from the new album such as “Panic” and “Lover’s Rock” as well as favorite Sublime classics.

PEPPER

Hawaii’s own Pepper will take a pause from their current Vans Warped Tour to play a domestic show in the Point Panic Music Festival.

Pepper has successfully founded their own record label, LAW Records, where they have sold over half of a million records. Original songs by the band have been featured in films Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Good Luck Chuck as well as on television shows.

Pepper will likely perform hit songs “No Control,” “Give It Up” and “Your Face” from their album “No Shame.”

IRATION

The local band Iration is also coming home to play the festival while touring nation-wide with other artists including Steel Pulse, Shwayze and George Clinton.

The band’s album “Time Bomb” reached #40 on the iTunes music charts. Iration‘s hit songs include “Get Back to Me,” “Turn Around,” and “Falling.”

DUB TRIO

This will be Brooklyn’s Dub Trio‘s debut performance in Hawaii. Dub Trio is currently touring with Flogging Molly and Dillinger Escape Plan. The band is also known as a backup group for Matisyahu. They have recorded with 50 Cent, Mos Def, Common, The Fugees, and Tupac. Dub Trio‘s albums include “New Heavy,” “Another Sound Is Dying” and “IV.”
