The Department of Water Supply continues repairs on a leaking valve in Happy Valley.

The work will result in impacts along North Market Street, where traffic will be reduced to a single lane of travel.

The work extends from Liko Place to Kapoai Place near the Iao Stream bridge.

To minimize traffic impact, DWS personnel will work on the project between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. today, and possibly tomorrow.

Motorists on North Market Street are advised to drive with caution and follow traffic control, or to use an alternate route.

Maui Department of Water Supply Administrative Officer, Jacky Takakura said the project does not affect water service.
