He has the range of Roy Orbison, and the lyricism of some female counterparts, with a longer career that has spanned decades. Since 1985, Chris Isaak, singer and songwriter, has chronicled love through ballads, stinging anthems, and raw honesty.

Isaak debuted in 1985 and has since toured, released 15 albums, acted, and hosted a talk-show.

At 55 years of age, Isaak is again on tour for his Beyond the Sun album. On Thursday December 1, at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center, Isaak will perform some of his most well known hits and other songs off the new CD. “Wicked Game,” and “Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing,” is a couple of songs that most people may have heard through the years. “Wicked Game,” was released in 1989 and was featured in the movie “Wild at Heart,” and was played in the television sitcom, “Friends.” “Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing,” was featured in Stanley Kubrick’s film, “Eyes Wide Shut.”
