[flashvideo file=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CExmqD81QCc /] Duke advances to the championship game of the EA SPORTS Maui Invitational basketball tournament after defeating Michigan 82-75 in semifinal action at the Lahaina Civic Center.

Duke Coach Mike Krzyzewski said he was proud of his team for their performance after playing, “six games in 11 days, and I thought we were pretty fresh today.”

Krzyzewski credited Austin Rivers with making some big plays and putting pressure on Michigan guard Tim Hardaway Jr. in the first half.

Between the two teams, there are six Maui titles: Duke has four (2007, 2001, 1997, and 1992), and Michigan has two (1988, and 1985).

Michigan will play tomorrow in Game 11 at 2:30 p.m. against either UCLA or Kansas; Duke will play in the title game at 5 p.m. on Wednesday against the winner of UCLA and Kansas.
