Piiholo Road in Makawao is now re-opened. It was closed earlier this morning because of a downed tree near mile marker 1.

Motorists are advised of a downed tree on Piiholo Road in Makawao.

The road was closed at 7:33 a.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2011, near mile marker 1.
County officials say the tree was blocking the roadway, resulting in the closure.
