Crime Stoppers Seeks Sunglass Theft Suspect

Authorities from the Maui Police Department and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual wanted for the alleged theft of several expensive sunglasses from two different Maui retailers.

The thefts were reported at the Lahaina Sunglass Hut and at the Macy’s department store in Kahului.

Authorities described the suspect as a male between the age of 25 and late 30s, approximately 5’5” to 5’10”, and weighing 150 to 170 pounds.

Anyone with information concerning the identity of the person in the surveillance photos is asked to contact Maui Crime Stoppers at (808) 242-6966, or toll free from the neighbor islands at (888) 242-6966.

Maui Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of individuals in unsolved crimes.
