Nearly 550 students on Maui submitted entries into the 3rd Annual Water Conservation Poster Contest conducted by the Department of Water Supply.

The contest was designed to educate Maui’s youth on the importance of water conservation, and encourage them to take an active role in ensuring water sustainability in the islands.

Student artwork focused on the theme, Malama I Ka Wai, or Take Care of the Water, and were evaluated on conservation message, originality, visual effectiveness, neatness and creativity.
