Allegiant announces the company will begin new, nonstop air service from the mainland to Honolulu.

The carrier will offer introductory fares as low as $174 one-way, including taxes and fees, from Honolulu International Airport to:

-Fresno, Calif. – begins June 30 with fares from $174 each way

-Las Vegas – begins June 29 with fares from $174 each way

“Allegiant’s entry to the Hawaiian islands is good news for the state,” said Mike McCartney, president and chief executive officer of the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority, in a written statement.

“The US West is our leading market and these flights will help to provide additional direct service for visitors and is estimated to provide up $29.8 million in visitor expenditures and $3.25 million in tax revenue.”

Allegiant’s $174 one-way fares are limited, not available on all flights and must be purchased by April 30, for travel by November 13.
