Nā Koa Football Club, the organization dedicated to supporting excellence in academics and athletics for University of Hawai‘i Warrior Football, presents “An Evening with Coach Chow:  Let’s Do This Together,” a live broadcast tonight, April 18, from 7 to 10 p.m.

The broadcast will be aired across the state on both KFVE the Home Team and OC Sports Channel 12.

The Hawai‘i News Now sports team of Chris Tanaka and Mike Cherry will be joined by “Sunrise” co-anchor Steve Uyehara in a night devoted to conversation with Coach Chow, his staff and some returning players.  The live broadcast during primetime will give the coaching staff an opportunity to talk about the upcoming season in the Mountain West Conference, the recruiting class, spring practice as well as interact with fans.

Viewers will be able to call in with donations, as well as questions for Coach Chow and his staff. Former players will be in-studio manning phone calls for donations to Nā Koa.

The broadcast will also be streamed live at www.nakoa.org, where donations will be accepted as well.

“This Spring marks a critical period for the Nā Koa Football Club and its members – those who are most passionate about Warrior Football,” said Nā Koa Football Club Executive Director Kimberly Fujiuchi. “The funds we raise this year will go to assist Warrior football players with their academics, including summer school, and many other program needs in 2012.”
