Filipino Chamber Seeking Leadership, Scholarship Nominations

The Maui Filipino Chamber of Commerce and its Foundation will be holding its annual Gintong Pamana Leadership and Scholarship Awards on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Maui Beach Elleair Room.

The chamber is currently accepting scholarship applications from graduating high school seniors of the various Maui schools. The chamber will be awarding six $1,000 scholarships. Application deadline is April 30, 2012.

The Chamber is also accepting nominations for the Gintong Pamana Leadership Awards. This award goes to individuals of Filipino ancestry who have demonstrated leadership qualities and who have achieved success in their chosen professions. Nominations deadline is May 10, 2012.
