Climate 101 Lecture Comes to Maui

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration hosts a special presentation on Maui today to discuss the effects of climate change both globally, and locally.

Dr. John Marra from the NOAA Climate Services and Monitoring Division and Jennifer Faught from the NOAA Climate Program Office will provide a lecture discussing climate change and variability.

They will also discuss what actions NOAA is taking nationally and within the Pacific Islands region related to climate change.

The Climate 101 lecture is free and open to the public.  It will begin at 6 p.m. at the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary located at 726 South Kihei Road.
