Motorcycle Accident Quickly Cleared on Honoapiilani

A motorcycle accident on the Honoapiilani Highway (Hwy 30) temporarily impacted overnight traffic in the pali area.
The accident forced the initial closure of the highway in both directions at 12:39 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, near mile marker 11, on the Lahaina side of the pali tunnel. Several minutes later, police were alternating traffic using the southbound lane.

By 12:50 a.m., the Highway was completely open in both directions, and traffic was allowed to resume its normal two-lane flow.
