Maui Ag & Natural Resources Industry Day Friday

In partnership with Maui Economic Development Board, Maui County Farm Bureau, UH Maui College will present Maui Agriculture & Natural Resources Industry Day.

The event will be held on the lawn of the Hoʻoulu building on the UH Maui College campus on Friday, September 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The second annual Maui Agriculture & Natural Resources Industry Day is planned to increase agricultural awareness as well as to expose Maui County students and teachers, both high school and college, to agricultural careers.

Following a 9 a.m. welcome address, the day is planned with breakout sessions that include “Ag Today,” “Culture in Ag,” “Natural Resources,” “Higher Education,” “Science in Ag,” “Landscape/Flowers,” and “Hawaii Sheep and Goat Association.”

The events will also include an agricultural industry trade show.
