An iPhone app devoted to dining on Maui was officially launched this week.
The Maui Dining app promises to bring “food finding to your fingertips” with directions, menus, reviews, special offers, and more. Its features include easy-to-find information and specials on top-rated eateries and local island hot spots.
“The basic idea behind it was to create an overall better experience. With this dining app, we’ve taken what historically was provided in print, and put it into a more dynamic space,” said Chuck Bergson, Pacific Radio Group CEO.
The Maui Dining app was created in a joint partnership between Maui’s Pacific Radio Group and OrangeClub Media–whose owner is Jack Dugan, a former Maui resident and Seabury Hall student.
“With The Maui Dining app, users can expect to see an elegant presentation of featured restaurants with special offers, GPS maps, and real-time reservation tools such as OpenTable,” said Bergson.
The app also includes information about the restaurants with 360-degree videos, menus, specials, navigation tools, and social network feeds.
Find out what tastes are trending, where the dining deals are at, and which menus are Maui favorites.
The Maui Dining app is currently available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch; and will soon be offered to Android users as well.
