University of Hawai’i junior Mike Edwards was selected to Phil Steele’s Midseason All-America third team as a kick returner.

Edwards, a junior from Cleveland, Ohio, currently ranks 12th nationally in kickoff return average at 30.0 yards per return. He was one return for touchdown — a 95-yarder to open the second half against Lamar — and four returns of 40 yards or more, three of which came against Nevada.
