BRIEF: Maui Gas Increases, Highest in State

Gas prices in Wailuku today are up two cents from the same time last week and up 11 cents from a month ago, according to the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report.

The average price for a gallon of regular gas in Wailuku today was listed at $4.54 today—that’s the highest in the state, and well above the statewide average of $4.42.

AAA lists the average price of gas in Hilo at $4.41, and Honolulu at $4.36.

Meantime, AAA lists California as leading the nation in the most expensive gas, with a gallon of regular gas going for $4.645.
