Due to a break on the 12-inch main line on South Kihei Road between Waimahaihai Place and Halelani Place, Kukui Mall on South Kihei Road currently has no water service. Department of Water Supply personnel are currently repairing the break and water service should be restored by 8:30 p.m. tonight.

At this time traffic on South Kihei Road in front of Kukui Mall is limited to one lane only in each direction. Motorists should follow signage and use caution in this area. In addition, the entry to Waimahaihai Place from South Kihei Road is closed and residents should use Halama Street for access.

Customers are asked to call the 24-hour service line (270-7633) only if a water problem occurs.
