The County of Maui and the Maui Vacation Rental Association are co-hosting a workshop on the new short-term rental home permits on October 29 at the Paia Community Center.

Maui County recently passed a new permitting process for short-term vacation rental homes. This permit is for properties with single family homes and does not apply to condominium units. There are incentives for applying before the end of 2012.
