Request for assistance from the Maui Fire Department’s Air-1 Helicopter was made after crews from Engine-1 and Rescue-10 arrived on scene.

The victim was airlifted to a landing zone at 4:30 p.m., and placed in the care of Medics who transported him to the Maui Memorial Medical Center for further treatment, said Maui Fire Services Chief Lee Mainaga.
