There were a total of 13 vehicle break-ins reported on Maui over a seven day period between January 13 and 19, 2013.

The incidents included the break-in of a variety of vehicles in:  (4) Kahului, (3) Wailuku, (2) Lahaina, and (1) each in Kapalua, Paia, Pukalani, and Waiehu.

A complete run-down of incidents is listed below:

Kahului:

  • Tuesday, January 15, 2013, 7 a.m.:  East Kaahumanu Avenue at the Kahului Safeway. 2001 Blue Ford Ranger.
  • Tuesday, January 15, 2013, 5:06 p.m.:  Kaahumanu Avenue at the Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center.  2003 White Ford Ranger.
  • Sunday, January 13, 2013, 1:29 p.m.:  Kele Street, back parking lot.  2010 Gray Dodge Charger.
  • Monday, January 14, 2013, 6 p.m.:  Dairy Road at the Dairy Center. 2000 Silver Toyota Tacoma.

Kapalua:

  • Saturday, January 19, 2013, 12:30 a.m.:  Honoapiilani Highway near mile post 34.  2001 White Toyota Tacoma.

  • Wednesday, January 16, 2013, 2:30 p.m.:  Hana Highway at the Paia Municipal parking lot.  2013 White Dodge Charger.

Pukalani:

  • Monday, January 14, 2013, 5:30 p.m.:  Makani Road.  2000 Green Subaru Forrester.
