12 Vehicle Break-ins on Maui Feb. 3 to 9, 2013

There were a total of 12 vehicle break-ins reported on Maui over a seven day period between February 3 and 9, 2013.

The incidents included the break-in of a variety of vehicles in:  (4) Kahului, (4) Kihei, (2) Wailuku, (1) Paia, and (1) in Lanai.

A complete run-down of incidents is listed below:

Kahului:

• Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, 7:30 p.m.:  Hana Highway at 24 Hour Fitness.  2006 Red Nissan Frontier.
• Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, 7 p.m.:  Hana Highway at 24 Hour Fitness.  2008 Gray Nissan Frontier.
• Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, 12 p.m.:  East Kaahumanu Avenue at the Maui Mall.  2013 Gray Chevy Malibu.
• Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, 7:40 a.m.:  East Kaahumanu Avenue at Iao Valley State Park, parking lot.  2001 White Toyota multi-purpose vehicle.

Kihei:

• Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, 11:02 p.m.:  South Kihei Road at the Kihei Kalama Village.  1994 Green Honda Accord.
• Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, 12 p.m.:  South Kihei Road at the Maui Coast Hotel.  2003 White Ford F150.
• Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, 11:02 p.m.:  South Kihei Road at the Kihei Kalama Village.  1994 Green Honda Accord.
• Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, 8 p.m.:  Kahakai Street.  1992 Maroon Ford Explorer.

Lanai:

• Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, 4:30 p.m.:  Manele Small Boat Harbor.  1996 White 42-foot lagoon-type fiberglass catamaran vessel.

Paia:

• Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, 6 p.m.:  Paia Municipal parking lot.  2003 Silver Ford Ranger.

Wailuku:

• Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, 8:44 a.m.:  North Church Street.  2006 Blue Honda Civic.
• Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, 12 p.m.:  Lani Place.  1990 Gray Honda Civic.
