According to the reports, the easement which allows the hotel to place chairs on the beach for exclusive use by the guests was granted by the Board of Land and Natural Resources without the public’s knowledge.

The newspapers also reported thatĀ the Four Seasons declined to comment, and that a spokesperson for the state board said it does not comment on pending litigation.
