Office of Hawaiian Affairs Maui Trustee Carmen Hulu Lindsey will be the guest speaker at tonight’s dinner forum hosted by the Maui Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce.

Lindsey will reportedly speak on new developments and initiatives at OHA as well as recent OHA decisions and how they affect beneficiaries of grants and services, according to the MNHCOC.

The program is part of an ongoing dinner forum series that takes place every other month featuring community leaders speaking on issues that affect Maui.

The event runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Maui Tropical Plantation. Cost for dinner is $20.

According to the organizations literature, the mission of the Maui Native Hawaiian Chamber is “to promote and sustain our Hawaiian culture, nurturing a strong community of Hawaiian Values and to enhance opportunities for success in business and education.”
