Seabury Hall 40th Annual Craft Fair Planned

Mother’s Day is just around the corner, but Maui-based procrastinators know that Seabury Hall has their back.
The school will celebrate its 40th annual Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday, May 11 at the Seabury Hall Campus.
The craft fair features food, entertainment, fresh produce, flower arrangements, games for the kids, silent and live auctions, and the island’s largest rummage sale.
Most importantly, it features items for sale from more than 100 of Hawaii’s best artists and craftspeople. Years past have seen the participants include woodworkers, traditional Hawaiian artists, jewelers, ceramists and weavers.
Always held the Saturday before Mother’s Day, the craft fair has been raising money for student financial aid since 1973. All proceeds from the craft fair support Seabury Hall’s financial aid program.
Over 35% of Seabury Hall students receive financial assistance from this fund and in the 2012-13 academic year alone, one million dollars was distributed to students.
The financial aid program strives to provide deserving students with an opportunity for a high-quality college preparatory education which might otherwise be unobtainable. It also aims to ensure that the school has a well-qualified diverse student body reflecting a broad social and economic mix.
The craft fair is located on the Seabury Hall campus in Makawao.
Contribute to the school’s financial aid fund, support local crafters and artisans, and pick up something thoughtful for your mother in one fell swoop.
Admission is $5 for adults, and there is no charge for children 12 and under.
Free parking is available, as well as premium parking for $10.
